MARLIN XXX Standard 1872 Pocket Revolver
1870s Conceal Carry Revolver in .30 Rimfire
Here we present an antique Marlin XXX 1872 Pocket Revolver, made from 1872 to 1887 in New Haven, Connecticut. About 26,000 of these revolvers were produced. The revolver bears much resemblance to Smith & Wesson’s pioneer cartridge revolvers. These were designed to be carried in a pocket for self-protection in a self-reliant 19th Century America. Firepower was 5 shots of .30 rimfire.
This specimen features a brass frame and rosewood grips. Grips are in very good condition. Bore is good. Action is functional.
