Description:
Up for sale today is a US Remington M1903 serial no. 3364012 (1943) chambered in caliber .30-06. This outstanding original rifle was one of the last M1903’s to be made. The rear bridge of the receiver shows the beginning processes of the transition to the M1903-A3 rear sight. The stock is in outstanding original condition and shows the “FJA” and the US Department of Defense crossed cannons cartouches, along with others. The bore is mint and shows a barrel date of “RA 1-43” and a muzzle wear reading of 1. An outstanding example of a very late, transitional M1903 and a great addition to any collection.
