Up for sale today is a US Colt M1911 serial no. 160649 (1915) chambered in caliber .45 Auto. This pistol was shipped to Springfield Armory on 16 June 1915 as part of a Navy contract. It was reworked at Augusta Arsenal and was given a Remington UMC slide at that time. This excellent original M1911 has an excellent bore. An excellent example of an early-rebuild M1911 and a great addition to any collection.
