Description:
This is a Colt Magnum Carry Limited Edition S/N SY0112 as new in the original box. In 1999 Colt introduced their last double action revolver model. This was a version of the SF-VI/DS-II series revolvers built on the "SF-VI" frame. This was a stainless steel revolver using the same transfer bar safety-ignition system as all Colts made after 1969. Colt built a small number, about 300, that were labeled as First Editions and this gun is one of those (See end label on box). This new model was chambered for the .357 Magnum cartridge, the first small frame Colt ever to use the Magnum round. The barrels were 2 inches, finish was satin stainless and a few bright polish models. The grips were Hogue Mono-Grips made for Colt by Hogue. The Magnum Carry was made in 1999 only. This gun includes the original blue factory box, shipping sleeve that is correctly end labeled and numbered to the gun, manual and paperwork. This gun was shipped by Colt to noted gun writer Stan Trzoniec of Handloader and Rifle magazine for test and evaluation. There is a note on the sleeve of the box confirming this. The condition remains new and the serial number is SY0112 meaning it was number 112 of the production. This is a stunning gun that will only appreciate with time. I offer a three day non firing inspection period and always want the buyer to be satisfied with their purchase. The gun will be packed correctly with the gun in a zipper sleeve and shipped via FedEx Air with insurance to your FFL dealer in the continental United States for $55 (California is extra because I have to ship through my local dealer). This gun requires a C&R or FFL license for transfer. I ship the following day after the payment arrives and provide tracking information.
