For sale is a Marlin Model 1881. This antque rifle was made in 1886. This fifle is chambered in 45-70 and has a 28 inch barrel.The but stock has a large crack and was repaired some time ago there is also a crack in the forearm by the loading port.Ther metal finish has turned to a gray in color. The action functions like it should and the bore has a few dark spots in it i would rate it a 6.This is a very nice Marlin with a Cody Letter. Pa resedents add 6% sales tax.Buyer pays shipping.
