Description:
Up for sale is a nice Marlin 1889. This old rifle is chambered in 44-40 W.C.F and has a 24 inch barrel. according to the factory letter this rifle was shipped in 1890. The barrel and mad tube have a nice dull blue still present the action is a gray color with no blueing left. There is a set of sling swivels on this rifle not sure if they are a factory option.the wood on the forearm is solid with some nicks and dents. The but stock has three screws in it why I cant say there is one crack in the wood at the back of the tang.The bore is dark in spots I would rate it a 6.Nice old Marlin. Pa resedents add 6% sales tax. Buyer pays shipping. Thanks for looking
