CIVIL WAR SMITH & WESSON OLD MODEL #2 ARMY REVOLVER CIRCA 1863. .32 RF caliber 6 shot revolver with 6” barrel. Early serial number in the 16,xxx range and all matching and in original excellent condition. 80% plus original blue with balance of finish a soft even patina. Excellent original rosewood grips with the original finish as well. Perfect working order and very good bore. Very nice Civil War example of the type purchased by many Union Officer’s as a personal sidearm. Gen. George Custer is known to have owned a pair of them.
