Antique LARGE Bore Flintlock Horse Pistol
With Interesting Markings
Here we present an antique Large Bore Flintlock Horse Pistol, made circa 1800. This pistol was designed to make massive holes in things, especially in self-defense. This pistol would have been a horse carried pistol or perhaps even worn on a belt.
This specimen has been restocked in walnut. The lock bears curious markings, perhaps from the Balkan region. The bore is a large .65 caliber. The overall condition is very good. The metal parts have aged nicely. The stock is solid. The bore is in good condition and the action is functional.
