Description:
Perazzi Mirage over & under shotgun in 12 Gauge. Manufactured in Italy and imported by Ithaca Gun Company, Ithaca, New York. Features 27 1/2" ported barrels, 2 3/4 inch chambers, 2 Briley S-46 choke tubes (chokes overlap the porting), choked I.Mod & Full (both lead only), a single-removable trigger and ejectors. The barrel is marked "Mirage" in gold lettering, and the color cased-hardened receiver is beautifully sculpted and has fine border engraving. The European walnut stocks have fine line checkering, the forend has a schnabel tip and the pistol-grip butt-stock has a brown rubber recoil pad with black leather on its face. The shotgun locks up very tight and the release lever is far to the right, and the breech face shows just a little wear, and so appears that the shotgun has not been shot much at all. Carried in the field yes, but shot very little. The exterior metal of the receiver is in excellent condition, thought the clear protective lacquer over the case colors is aging. The trigger, barrels release lever and forend release metal and bluing are in very good condition, and the barrel blue overall is in very good condition, however there is a small dent in the bottom barrel near the forend, which protrudes into the bore, and some scratches along the bottom of the barrel near the forend tip and near the muzzle. The wood is in good overal condition but has scratches on both sides of the butt-stock, as well as at the top and bottom. The forend has several scratches but considerably less and smaller than those on the butt-stock. Measures, LOP: 14"; DAC: 1 1/2" & DAH: 2 1/2". Weighs 7 Lbs., 14 Oz. Includes a Perazzi travel case.
