Description:
This is a 50 caliber benchrest muzzleloader. The 32” browned straight octagonal barrel is in good condition having some finish wear on the edges. The bore has clean, sharp rifling with an estimated 1:22 twist. We believe the barrel to be made by James Goodoien. The front sight is a Redfield Olympic front sight and the rear sight is a Redfield International peep sight with windage and elevation adjustments. A Redfield scope base is also mounted to the barrel, but is unoccupied. There are some usage marks on the screws for the sights, but they are all in working condition. The Billinghurst underhammer action is browned as well and has finish wear but no corrosion. The P++ walnut buttstock is also in good condition. There are a couple dings near the toe but few disturb the somewhat glossy finish. The crescent buttplate has a worn finish but no corrosion. Buttstock has a raised cheek rest and pistol style grip. Length of pull is 13-½”, overall length is 50”, and weight is 13.4 lbs. Custom brass single cavity mold is included along with custom swedge and paper patch stencil. Willing to ship anywhere in the US, buyer pays freight and insurance.
