Description:
This is a 1942 Remington Model 81 chambered for 35 Remington. The 22” blued barrel is in good condition having a few scattered dings but no corrosion or finish wear. The bore has good rifling. The front sight is a fixed bead set in a raised dovetail and the rear sight is adjustable for elevation. The blued receiver has scattered scratches and finish wear around the edges. The bolt is in good condition and has no corrosion. The safety lever, fixed 5 round magazine, and trigger guard are also blued with light finish wear. The walnut forend and buttstock are in decent condition. There are a few scattered scratches and dents but they are not very deep. The finish on the buttstock is worn and lifting. Forend and buttstock have sling swivels and buttstock has a Remington checkered buttplate. Length of pull is 13-½”, overall length is 41”, and weight is 8.6 lbs. Our stock number is #A365.
