BEAUTIFUL, FANCY SHILOH SHARPS, MADE IN BIG TIMBER, MONTANA, NO. 1 SPORTING RIFLE IN .45-70 CALIBER, an exceptional rifle with 30" heavy oct. barrel, this is a pistol grip rifle with shotgun butt, cheek piece and double set triggers as standard, as options this rifle was ordered with extra fancy walnut, AA finish on the wood, pewter tip forend, polished barrel, fire blued polished screws, accent line on the cheek piece, checkered steel butt plate, brass escutcheons, sling swivels, traditional checkering (this alone is a $460 option), long range vernier tang sight with spirit level globe front sight and all in near new condition inside and out with only the most minor of handling marks you'd have to look closely for to find. This rifle would have a catalogue price of over $4600 if ordered today with a two year back order weight and possible price increases during that time. My price on this one is $3650.
