Description:
Browning Prewar Superposed Special Order in very good to excellent condition. This is a special order diana grade with dogs and birds on one side and deer on the other. The original owners name is engraved among the scrollwork on the bottom. This gun is one of the last prewar superposed made being no. 17028 with 17030 made before the germans took over the factory. Barrels retain 99% original blue and have hand engraved markings. Field style lightning forend with 28" full over modified. Wood is in very good condition with original oil finish with a couple light handling marks. Original buttplate has minor losses around the screw holes. A very nice special order shotgun and guaranteed to be all original.
