Description:
Built on a commercial FN Mauser action with Sako bottom metal and trigger, barreled by Flaig's 24" medium contour barrel (marked PREMIUM below the stock line), this 9lb rifle has a shortish LOP (13" through 1/2" rubber DuPont pad) and an "A Square" type grip for a smallish hand. The buttstock is highly figured flame/crotch walnut with Winchester pattern checkering (workmanlike job but not custom quality) with rosewood tip. Bore is excellent, bluing is strong apart from some freckling on the barrel beyond the forend. Comes with a Redfield one piece base and period rings (rear half width) and sling.
