LOP 14 5/16" over 1" custom leather covered recoil pad ... drop comb 1 1/2" ... drop heel 2" ... weight 7.4 lbs w/12 ga barrels & 7.3 lbs w/20 ga barrels.
This gun features truly exceptional engraving that appears clean and simple but contains amazing and intricate detail. Borderline engraving in gold is along the barrel breeches, edges of the forend iron, forend latches, trigger guard and upper & lower tang. The receiver has similar borderline patterns surrounding highly detailed scenes of 3 quail flushing on the left and 2 pheasant flushing on the right. The bottom shows a gold inset mallard landing in reeds.
Exhibition Grade European walnut in a dark color is used for the flat knob pistol grip stock. The 12 gauge barrels have a skeet style beavertail forearm with wrap around checkering and finger grooves above. The 20 gauge barrels have a Schnabel forearm with wraparound checkering in the same pattern. The toeline of the stock has an inlaid, 'yet-to-be-initialed', gold oval. This set comes in a dark brown, faux fur lined, lockable, Browning luggage case.
