Description:
Parker Bros.GH 12ga.According to the factory letter it was shipped to Simmons Hardware on March 30,1901.It has 30" damascus barrels choked full (.040") and full (.040").It has a pistol grip stock, double triggers,a splinter forend, and extractors. The barrel bores are clean and bright and have excellent wall thickness. The bores average .032" thickness in each barrel. The thinest spot I could find was near the muzzle that measured .028".The barrels lock up tightly with no play. The gun retains traces of case color on the action and 80% of the damascus pattern on the barrels. The stock dimensions are 141/4" LOP over the original dog's head buttplate,15/8" at comb, and 25/8" at heel.Built on a #2 frame the gun weighs 7-9.This is a solid early Parker that would make a great hunting gun or a fine gun for vintage clays shoots.C&R eligible.
