This revolver has matching numbers on the frame, cylinder, barrel, extractor, and yoke with the metal retaining 80-85% of the original phosphate finish that has mild fading on the sides of the barrel, along the exposed edges, small scratches along the sides of the frame, and a light turn-ring on the cylinder. Scattered spots of light freckling and pinprick pitting are also present on the barrel, frame, and cylinder. The topstrap has a lightly struck U.S. Ordnance Dept. “flaming bomb", and “US PROPERTY GHD" inspection stamp to the left of the sighting channel. The hammer and trigger have about 50-60% of the original color case-hardening remaining, and the smooth walnut grips (numbered to the gun on the interior) are in about very good shape with some light finish loss and numerous minor handling marks and areas of wear around the butt. This is a very nice World War II Victory Model, and is in about very good condition overall.
