Description:
Winchester Model 71 Deluxe Rifle in 348 WCF cal. Full deluxe checkered pistol grip stock and matching forend with checkered steel butt plate. The rifle has Deluxe Snap-on sling swivel bases, the Adjustable Bolt Peepsite and is an early long tang model. SN 11061 is a 1937 mfg, number.
The stock and forend retain all of the original finish with no gouges, splits or large dents. The only marks on these pieces are very minor scratches that do not penetrate the finish, a scuff mark at the base of the stock on the left side and a dent on the base of the stock on the top rib 1" from the steel butt plate. None of these marks detract from the overall outstanding condition of the wood furniture on this rifle.
The barrell, receiver and lever of this gun retain the original deep blue finish with two barely noticeable scratches. Altogether this gun should easily rate a 95% grade for condition.
A beautiful gun with all the featlures you would want to have to add to your collection. Priced well below Blue Book Value.
