Colt's attempt at entering the rifle market in the 1880's which didn't turn out to be as popular as their competitors. Cal 32-20. 26" round bbl, full length mag tube and standard sights. Metal is a blue/brown color with good markings. Traces of case color on hammer. Crisp action. Rampant Colt on left side of receiver. Wood has crisp checkering and scattered handling mars. VG bright shiny bore. Made in 1887.
