EXCELLENT WINCHESTER U.S. 1885 LOW WALL .22 SHORT CAL WINDER MUSKET CA. 1918. WW1 era production with many used as training rifles. Stamped behind the hammer “U.S./ORDNANCE BOMB”. Original Winchester Model 1885 Winder receiver sight. 100% original with 90% blue with balance a nice mixed patina. Stock and forend wood with all the original finish and excellent with only a few very minor dings near the toe of the butt plate. Excellent bore and in perfect working order.
