19th Century POCKET CARRY for the Armed Citizen
Here we present an antique Whitney No. 1-1/2 .32 Rimfire Revolver, made circa the 1870s. This small revolver carried five shots of .32 rimfire ammunition. It was specifically designed to be a pocket gun, being very small and light. For those not wanting or needing a full-sized gun or for those who wanted a backup this revolver was the ideal self-defense firearm for the tumultuous 19th century.
This specimen is in near fine condition. Significant original blue remains on the barrel and cylinder. Brass frame is bright. Markings are clear and legible. The grips and bore are in very good condition. The action is fine.
