Description:
1862 export Enfield period conversion to sporter. Lock marked with "1862" and Crown only. Lock back stamped "C. Smith" and "J. Dudley". Smooth brown key fastened barrel with original modification, ramrod and Enfield barrel tampion. Bottom of barell stamped "B&C" and "IIV".Entire gun in excellent shape with nice shootable rifled bore. Most original metal finish remains. No rust. Shoot an original that does not depreciate.
