For sale Smith & Wesson Military and Police 1st model revolver in .38 caliber with 5" barrel. Bore, timing, and lock up are very good. Previous owner advised the gun was refinished back in the late 1960's early 1970's and new wood Smith & Wesson original grips installed retains 98% of refinish. This item features free shipping, lower 48 states only. Information added August 2014: I was told by a S&W collector based on the serial number 14669 that this revolver is definitely a 1st model series not a 2nd .
