Made 1955 12 ga 30” vent rib, rare factory choked F/IC (measures .027”/.007”) Trap model as so-described in Browning letter. 2-3/4" chambers. Engraved by Felix Funken (no question), and so-signed. Exceptional Gr III 'full' game scene engraving with accurate figure-ground relationships characteristic of Funken. Beautifully streaked original (matching serial number) French walnut with excellent character. Checkering is crisp. Single-selective trigger, ejectors. 8lbs 3oz. 1-1/2" DAH x 1-3/4" DAC x 14-3/8" standard LOP to Pachmayr Jumbo Trap recoil pad. All original parts and matching #'s. ALL-original finishes. Bores are bright. Action is reasonably tight for a live pigeon or trap gun. Good lock-up and no slack on the hinge pin. The decal on the toe is from the XXV World Pigeon Shooting Championship – Barcelona Spain 1961. This item is USED showing handling marks in the wood consistent with a well-traveled 62 year-old gun thought to be formerly owned by a noted American industrialist icon.
