#1643, Dakota Arms 280 Remington Classic Grade with a Lot of Extras, It remains in 98% condition and it appears unfired to me, 23" barrel without open sights, Standard Model 70 type 3 position wing safety, Talley scope bases & 1" rings, Swarovski 3-9 x 36 with a duplex reticle, Upgraded to a straddle hinged floorplate with a center bow release, Satin blue finish, Upgrade wood with a very nice piece of English walnut with very nice color contrast, Shadowline cheekpiece, Ebony forend tip, Point pattern checkering, Upgrade to double screw tiedown sling eyes, 14 1/8" L.O.P. over a 7/8" factory pad, 8 lbs. 14 oz., The entire blue remains at 99%, The stock is at 98% with handling marks only, The checkering is 100%. The bore is like the day Dakota shipped it out of Sturgis, South Dakota. Based on the bolt face, the bore at the muzzle and the muzzle crown I believe it is unfired. All of the marks on the 98% stock look like gun shelf marks to me. Here is an American Classic chambered to the true Gunsmith's cartridge. The 280 Remington will take you a long ways all over North America.
