SALE PENDING For your viewing is a Winchester Model 21 skeet. In 20 ga. This shotgun has a story that dosen't end. A shooting associate order this shotgun in from a well known hi end dealer in Ct. right out of the Box it had a problem. Purchaser sent it back for repair. Shotgun returned, and a new problem arose. It would periodically misfire on a round of skeet. Instead of sending back to Ct at over a $100 in shipping costs and insurance, the purchaser took it to the local smith who had it for ever and ever for repair. months later with new hammer springs, out to the field it went. Still periodically it would just bump a primer. The present owner has had it with the shotgun. No more waiting at the smith, he wants rid of this beauty. While waiting for repairs, the owner sent to Winchester in Cody Wyoming to see if the had any info on the shotgun. The history of it is attached with the pictures. Made in 1948 and refurbished at Winchester in 1961 barrels have been shortened twice from original so chokes are two thousands tighter then cylinder measurements. Owner is taking a real loss financially on this shotgun, but can't take the wait for more repairs at the Gunsmith. He want's it sold.
