Description:
This is a nicely maintained LC Smith Featherweight Field Grade in 16 gauge. The stock has been shortened with a length of pull of 13 1/4" over a black white-outlined pad. The serial number, 180XXX, dates to 1939. The bores are choked, modified and full. The case colors are running a strong 95% as is the blue on the barrels. The stock shows the original factory finish with the expected bumps and abrasions. The bores are bright. The left barrel shows one light stain spot. The gun comes with a set of 20 gauge sleeves. I never fired the firearm and inherited it a couple of years ago from a single-owner family memeber who used it very infrequently for upland game birds in Texas.
