Description:
Depression-era NRA Sporter with star gauge barrel and beautiful bore. These were factory NRA sporters that got enhanced by G&H and a few other boutique makers, to make ends meet during tough times. Has the Springfield markings on front ring intact, Griffin's #B1216 on underside of barrel. Wood, checkering, metal finish and "R. Noske" scope are in remarkably nice shape, with only the smallest handling marks or dings visible under close inspection. Single lever steel G&H base, with the earlier style lettering. 13-3/4" pull over Silvers recoil pad. G&H sling studs fit Winchester Super Grade sling swivels. Call or email for more details.
