Belgian Browning FN Trombone exquisitely engraved in the special order game scenes of Fox holding Pheasant and Hunting Hound surrounded by highly detailed scroll and leaf. Top of receiver is highlighted with an Eagle perched among trees and again enclosed by extensive scroll and leaf coverage. This special order engraving pattern is described and pictured in Homer Tyler's authoritative book on the Browning 22 rifle (P.204 rev.ed.) and was produced by FN in very limited numbers in the eighties and first seen in the late sixties as a special order. This elegant pump action rifle features the superbly executed artistry of Master Engraver Angelo Bee and the extra select walnut was sourced from Belgium for the finely checkered stock and fore arm. All aspects of this classic rifle such as bore and mechanicals are in excellent as-new condition.
