For sale is this beautiful Westley Richards .270 Win. Bolt Action rifle built on a FN style Mauser action with the case and accessories. The gun is intricately engraved with scroll engravings throughout the floor plate, trigger guard, grip cap, bolt handle, muzzle, front sight ramp, island sight base, and skeleton butt-plate. The bolt knob is checkered. This rifle has a magnificent stock with a very nice deep grain and oil finish. The checkering is sharp and ornate. The forend has an ebony wood tip. The stock also has brass oval blank escutcheon. The stock shows some very light handling marks throughout, but is overall 98%+. The blueing and metal components are overall 99%+ with the original vibrant blueing. The bore is excellent with sharp grooves and lands. The barrel is stamped with maker’s name, caliber, and British proof markings. This rifle features double set triggers, an island rear sight base with one fixed and two folding leaf sights, one ramp front sight, barrel fixed sling swivel, stock sling swivel, side safety, and a grip cap sight compartment. The accessories include a leather wrapped wood case with a red felt interior by the maker, a Zeiss DIATAL –ZA 4 X 32 scope with the rings, bases, and mounts, a bore cleaning rod, a full set of bore cleaning accessories, a powder accessory, a set of slings, a flat head screw driver, and a testing target.
