12 Ga 2 ¾” chambers , Chopper lumps 25” tubes.
.729” bores with .018” (MOD) and .028” (Imod) Chokes.
Churchill narrow flat rib . Bores and chambers are like new
Blacking is in 98% original condition.
The action has 90% rose and scroll engraving coverage
And retain 90% of its case hardening colors.
Bolting is very tight with a Purdey flat bolt and a H&H type
Third fastener. It sports Churchill easy opening using the cocking
Levers and main springs to assist the braking. A nice feature that let
You reach for shells with your left hand , as the right open the gun.
The gun weight is 6 pounds 8oz.
Straight grip stock with a 14 ¼” LOP over 1 ¼” pad. Drop is 1 ½” and 2 ½”
Cast off 3/8” . Beavertail forend , wood finish and checkering are in
90% original condition.
An interesting piece, in nice overall condition, great grouse and woodcock gun.
