Description:
Serial #8T1173, 9mm Para., 4 5/8” barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a handsome pistol that has matching numbers on the frame, slide, and barrel. The metal retains 97-98% of the original dark gray phosphate finish that has silvered lightly at the muzzle as well as along a few of the raised edges and projections. There is some further mild fading along the gripstraps and an unobtrusive import stamp on the butt at the edge of the magazine well. The checkered black resin grips are in fine shape having only minor flattening of the points and just a few very small handling marks and blemishes along the edges of both panels. The pistol comes with two original “JI” marked Inglis magazines and is housed in an original, “(Broad Arrow)-C” marked, 1945 dated 2nd model “Chinese” pattern canvas holster (complete with cleaning rod) in excellent, unissued condition. These holsters were designed for the Chinese contract Inglis guns but were also adopted by Canada for use with their pistols. The wedge-shaped holsters were not popular due to the fact that they are slightly too small to fit the High Power properly, and were replaced by the larger “Canadian” or Type F pattern. This is a super, high condition Inglis High Power with accessories, and rates excellent overall. FFL or C&R
