Description:
Serial #0T8957, 9mm, 4 11/16" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a nice, British military marked, fixed rear sight variant pistol that was rebuilt at R.O.F. Enfield in 1962 and has the “FTR" marks added to the left side on the slide and frame. The pistol has matching numbers on the frame and slide, while the barrel was renumbered to match during the rebuild. The metal retains 95-97% of the arsenal re-applied dark gray phosphate finish that has faded and silvered in some spots on the raised edges and projections. The checkered black neoprene grips are later replacements, and are in excellent shape with only very minor handling marks and surface scuffs present. The pistol comes with a single, unmarked magazine, and has an aftermarket extended safety added. This is still a very nice military High Power, and rates fine condition overall. FFL or C&R
