Production estimates for the Model 46 are approximately 4,000 total between 1959 and 1968, This is one of the 2500 manufactured with a 7" barrel and its serial number puss it in the first 1,000 or so manufactured. It is in exceptional condition showing almost zero blue loss or fade, The mechanics are as new. The original grips are very good to excellent. Model 46's are scare and collectable and getting harder to find in this condition and will look great in your collection.
