Colt 1851 Navy Marked U.S.16-93
This is a very attractive Colt 1851 Navy Fourth Model Marked “U.S.”Marking means it was issued by the U.S. Government, probably for use in the Civil War. Serial # 60113, made in 1856. The action on this pistol works properly and locks up tight. All numbers match, including the cylinder, the wedge and the rammer. The grips have a little wear at bottom metal is fairly clean, with a little corrosion the numbers and the letters are clear and easy to read, a little cylinder scene remains. The bore has 40%-50% of the rifling and little corrosion. This is a clean, attractive original pistol for the collect or shooter (it should be checked by a gunsmith before shooting). It would make and excellent addition to your collection. (16-93) $1,700.00
