RARE NEAR MINT CASED FACTORY ENGRAVED LONDON PISTOL COMPANY SERIES II PERCUSSION .31 CAL. POCKET REVOLVER CA. 1860. Distinctive enlarged grip, 6 shot revolver with 4” octagon barrel. Made by Manhattan Fire Arms Company of Newark, New Jersey. Barrel address “LONDON PISTOL COMPANY”. Frame stamped forward of trigger guard “PATENTED/DEC. 27. 1859”. Very rare with only a few hundred made. Finest quality and brilliant condition-possibly the finest example known. Factory American scroll engraved frame and beautiful 100% crisp “STAGECOACH HOLD-UP” cylinder scene. Original blued finish overall with 95% plus remaining. Walnut grips in mint condition. Mint bore and chambers. Perfect working order. Original walnut factory case with the original wine colored velvet. Original brass mold and very near mint “STANDING EAGLE” copper flask. Also includes a quantity of lead balls, an Eley Bros. cap tin and the original key. Case and all accessories in excellent or better condition. Exceptional and with old collection provenance.
