ARMY REVOLVERS CIRCA 1863-4. Serial numbered 73,xx7 and 73,xx8 and all original and matching with both pistols unfired excellent to near mint condition. Both retain most of the original blue with some slight flaking and storage patination. Both with U.S. Government Inspector’s markings on all appropriate parts and both with mint Inspector’s cartouches on the grips. Both pistols have mint grips with perfect cartouches. Both in working order and with mint bores. Period walnut casing with the original dark red velvet lining. With modest fading and minor oil staining. Original Remington “Dog” flask in near mint condition, excellent, unmarked .44 cal. 2 cavity Remington Army mold, packet of American Powder Co. .44 cal. skin cartridges and a tin of Hicks caps.
