CASED MINT REMINGTON FACTORY ENGRAVED NEW MODEL POLICE CONVERSION .38 RF CAL. REVOLVER CA. 1871-2. 5 shot with 4” barrel addressed “E.REMINGTON & SONS. ILION. NEW YORK. U.S.A./NEW MODEL” with patent dates “PATENTED SEPT. 14, 1858. MARCH 17. 1863” All original and matching. Factory American scroll engraving overall and factory nickel plating with bright blue screws. Beautiful original walnut grips with high polished finish. 100% original finish remaining and grips in mint condition. Looks unfired with mint bore and chambers. Original Remington factory walnut case in with red velvet lining in very good condition. Contains the original wood cartridge block with a full assortment of original cartridges. Original key included. Very rare Remington set in exceptional condition. Early collection provenance and first time on the market in nearly 40 years.
