RARE REMINGTON 1ST MODEL .41 RF CAL. BLUE DOUBLE DERRINGER CA. 1866. First year production serial numbered in the 3xx range and all original and matching. First Model made without extractor and stamped on the barrel ribs “E. REMINGTON & SONS. ILION.N.Y.” and “ELLIOT’S PATENT. DEC 12. 1865”. Only 2000 made and very rare in blue finish with the early rosewood grips. 100% original with 605 plus original blue and has nearly all the original varnish on the grips. Working order and excellent bores. Seldom seen with Moldenhauer collection provenance.
