RARE REMINGTON .32 RF CAL. VEST POCKET SAW HANDLE SINGLE SHOT DERRINGER W/ EARLY BRASS FRAME CA. 1865. All original and matching and one of approximately 500 of the earliest made serial numbered in the 4xx range on inside grip strap. Barrel stamped on top ‘REMINGTONS. ILION. N.Y./PATD. OCT. 1. 1861 NOV. 15. 1863”. Frame with unpolished original patina and barrel a crisp medium grey. Factory rosewood grips in excellent original condition. Rolling block “SPLIT BREECH” Elliot’s Patent action in perfect working order. Good rifling. We have seen very few of these over the years and almost never see them for sale.
