FINE EARLY REMINGTON .22RF CAL. ZIG-ZAG PEPPERBOX DERRINGER CA. 1861. 100%original and matching and very scarce with only about 1000 manufactured. Serial umber in the 4xx range. Elliot’s earliest which did not tip up and loaded from a port in the rear of the frame. Frame stamped on the right side “MANUFACTURED BY/REMINGTONS/ILION. N.Y.”. Left side of frame stamped “ELLIOT’S PATENTS/AUG. 17. 1858/MAY 29. 1860”. Crisp grey patina overall with good markings. Excellent original gutta-percha grips. Working order and very good bores.
