Description:
Colt 1911 National Match .38 Wadcutted Mid Range. This pistol was made for international export to countries where firearms laws may be highly restrictive, limiting calibre and magazine capacity. The pistol was also made to provide a specialised and highly accurate target pistol for US and Canadian shooters participating in the ISSF Centre Fire match. Does not use the Browning action of recoil but operates as a simple blowback, this in addition to most of the gun being tighter overall and a Bo-Mar PPC sight is used to increase accuracy. Operator wear on the finish is only visible on the high edges of the slide as well as some scratching on the sides of the slide as well. Action wear on the trigger and the magazine. In excellent condition and a rare find.
