Description:
Browning BSS 12 Gauge Side by Side
1976 GUN, AS NEW, 99% FACTORY FINISHES, NICE PRICE!

General Specs: Browning, Belgium, Year 1976, 12 Gauge, 7lbs 7oz, Side-by-Side
Serial Number: o5266RT158

Browning came out with the BSS, or Browning Side by Side, in 1972 and it was and is a well-received double shotgun, with production ending in 1987.  There is no doubt the BSS is a reliable and stoutly built boxlock meant for vigorous shooting with utter reliability.  Google search the gun and you will find that the Browning BSS has made its mark in South America dove and pigeon hunting circles where they are depended upon to fire thousands of rounds a day, tens of thousands of rounds per week, without a   hick-up.  Factory built for modern loads in magnum 3” shells, you can use these guns for clays or game and never worry about the gun working when you need it to.  The market has seen a steady increase in value with the respected Browning name and reputation behind the gun, and of course now being out of production for 30 years, they have some collector/shooter value as well.  This gun, snO5266RT158 made in 1976, is in as new condition with only a few light handling marks in the Browning high-gloss finish.  The metal is just about 100% with no wear or marks.  The gun is all factory original finishes.  As I look at internet available Browning BSS guns I see many that have been restored, have butt pads added, lots of bruises and dings, and all at similar prices to this gun.  Realize that finding a Browning BSS in as new condition is the way you want to find them.  We have a 30 day shooting warranty on all of our used guns, so buy with confidence.  Thanks for looking.
