Description:
Savage 22 high power in good to excellent condition for it's age 1915. All numbers match, forearm, receiver and butt plate. Original Savage windgage sight a good bore and strong sharp lands with light frosting in grooves. There is a horizontal crack in the forearm that was repaired, I have owned the rifle for 15 years and it's never been an issue see pic, butt stock wood is excellent with no cracks at upper tang, lenght of pull is 131/4 inches. Interior part of lever retains alot of it's original case coloring, receiver is gray on right side not to bad on left, original owner must have been rigth handed, barrel blue i'd give a 80%, top and bottom tang blue amazingly good 90%. Rifle functions as it should, when rifle is taken down and put back together it locks up tight NO wobble or play. Note when barrel is removed or remounted lever must be open.
This also comes with a set of dies, 94 sized and primed brass, one unopend box of bullets one 3/4 full box, one unopened box of cartridges and one box with 18 cartridges.
This is a fun little rifle with really mild recoil almost like shooting a 22 mag. except it shoots a 70 gr. bullet at almost 3000 fps.
