Very nice, all original Pre War Winchester 70 in the venerable 270 Win. caliber. 24" Barrel. UNDRILLED rear receiver bridge. S/N 52*** with matching bolt. 90% overall Blue and Varnish. 100% original. Mechanics and bore are excellent. Despite some fairly minor cosmetic surface blems, this rifle is spotless inside, and has all correct components. These early production, unmolested examples are becoming very difficult to find and represent an outstanding value to the collector.
