Consecutive Numbered Pair of Deep Relief Engraved Smith and Wesson Model 66-1 .357 Double Action Revolvers that were engraved by the late Ben Shostle, and displayed in a double presentation wood case. The matched revolvers have Gold Inlaid Eagles on the pistol frames and finely detailed Scrimshaw Linen Micarta Grips featuring the American Bald Eagle clutching a Snake. Finding a pair of consecutive numbered pair of Smith and Wesson Model 66-1s are rare in itself, much less engraved by Master Engraver Ben Shostle. Master Engraved pieces of work from Ben Shostle are highly sought after and rare to find. Individual Ben Shostle engraved pistols have been trending at over $5000, and it is unlikely there is another consecutive numbered pair of Shostle engraved revolvers like these. These have not been offered previously for sale on the internet, and have been stored since 2005. A great investment as these will only continue to appreciate in value.
