Kokura Arsenal Type 44 6.5 Jap caliber rifle. Japanese Military carbine with early short bayonet housing. Serial numbers are non-matching. Bore has strong rifling and is dark in the grooves. Stock is very good with dents and dings. A crack on the forearm has been arsenally repaired at some point. Mum is excellent. Very good overall condition. A nice early example of a Type 44.
