The BHE grade was a limited edition mfg. 1987-1989, only 100 produced in 12 Ga. No. 1 1/2 frame case colored boxlock action. Full coverage engraving features 2 flying partridge on right side, 2 flying sharptail grouse on left side w/ flying woodcock on floorplate surrounded by elaborate scroll & fancy borders. Engraving extends to trigger guard bow & breech ends of both sets of barrels. Single selective trigger. Selective ejectors. Near new retaining 99% blue & case colored metal finish. Both barrel sets are on face and have very good bright bores . Action is tight
Splinter forearm & hard rubber capped pistol grip stock of fine thin shell walnut w/ striking dark streaks & marbling. Stocks feature fleur de lis carved ears with forearm, wrist & ears having fancy carved border hand checkering. Toe line has blank name plate. LOP: 14 1/8" over checkered butt w/ engraved skeleton steel buttplate. Stocks have very good original finish showing very few light marks.
Makers leather covered case w/ green felt fitted interior containing keys, 2 piece hard wood cleaning rod, bore brush, and mop. Parker Reproduction logo oil bottle & snap caps complete the set up.
