Description:
#4993 Colt D/A 1878, 4-3/4”x44WCF, 22XXX(1888), VG bore (a 7 on a scale of 10), and VG+ action. The metal is a smooth plum-brown patina that looks like the plum color is a result of some Cold Blue having been wiped over a brown natural patina. The “CFSS” barrel logo is all but worn way, just faint vestages remain, but at least the correct two-line barrel address is decent enough. The original hard rubber grips are VG+ with just light wear and the oft missing lanyard ring is intact. About VG. $1495
