Mauser. Model K98. Cal 8mm Mauser. 24" barrel. Bridge is stamped " 337/1940". Mannufactured at Gustloff-werke, Weimar. This carbine was the standard shoulder arm of the German Armed Forces during World War II. Matching numbers on bridge, barrel, rear sight, bolt, bolt handle, safety, buttplate, trigger guard, floorplate, floor plate screws, butt stock & handguard and front barrel band. Original sling and muzzle cover. Laminated stock is excellent with some dings . Thin steel buttplate. Excellent bore and perfect action. All metal is a blue-brown patina. No import marks. A fine example of an all original Nazi Mauser. Serial # 2167.
